WARELAB Mesh — Refund Policy
Effective date: 27 May 2026
We want you happy with what you bought. If WARELAB Mesh isn't right for you, here's how refunds work.
The short version
You get 14 days from your purchase date to request a refund for any reason. Email us, we issue the refund, your licence stops working.
Before you buy, use the free 7-day trial to evaluate WARELAB Mesh on your own meshes — that's the only reliable way to know whether it works for the kinds of parts you actually scan. Alignment quality varies significantly between meshes, and the trial lets you find out on YOUR data before you spend money.
How to request a refund
Email refunds@warelab.co.uk within 14 days of your purchase with:
The email address you used to buy
Your Lemon Squeezy order number (in the order confirmation email — looks like #WL-XXXX)
A brief reason (one sentence is fine — "doesn't fit my workflow", "found a better tool", "buyer's remorse", anything)
We aim to process refunds within 2 business days. The refund is issued to the original payment method by Lemon Squeezy (our payments processor) and typically lands in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card.
What happens to your licence
Once the refund is processed, your licence key is deactivated — the app will revert to trial mode on its next launch. Please uninstall the software within 7 days of the refund being processed.
What's eligible
Eligible:
Standard one-time purchases of a WARELAB Mesh licence, within 14 days of purchase, for any reason.
Not eligible:
Requests made more than 14 days after the purchase date.
Requests that come after a chargeback has already been filed with your bank (talk to us first — we'll always try to resolve things directly).
Your statutory rights (UK & EU customers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) and equivalent EU legislation, you ordinarily have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance purchases.
For digital products delivered immediately (like a software licence key), this right can be waived if you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you'll lose the cooling-off right. The Lemon Squeezy checkout asks you to give this consent before completing payment.
Even if you've waived the statutory cooling-off right at checkout, this Refund Policy still gives you the same 14-day window for any reason — it's our voluntary commitment on top of statutory rights.
This Refund Policy does not affect any other statutory rights you may have, including the right to a refund or repair if the software is faulty, doesn't match its description, or isn't of satisfactory quality.
Faulty software vs. "didn't align my part"
There are two different situations to be clear about:
Faulty software means the app fundamentally doesn't work:
The installer won't run
The app crashes consistently on launch
A valid licence key won't activate
An advertised feature (e.g. project save, export) is broken
If you hit any of these, email support@warelab.co.uk first — we'd much rather fix the bug than process a refund, and most issues get resolved within a day. The 14-day refund window still applies if we can't resolve the issue, and your statutory rights for faulty software under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply regardless of the 14-day window.
"This particular part didn't align how I wanted" is a different situation and is NOT classed as faulty software. Automatic mesh alignment is an inherently imperfect process — some geometries align beautifully, others don't, and which is which depends on:
Mesh quality (clean CAD vs noisy scan)
The quality of your 3D scan capture — scanner, technique, lighting, surface material, multi-capture registration, post- processing. This is entirely outside our control. A scan with large holes, severe noise, or missing geometry won't align well in any tool, including ours.
Geometry complexity (boxes vs organic shapes, presence or absence of clear flat datums)
Your own intended frame of reference for the part
The free 7-day trial exists exactly so you can test WARELAB Mesh on your own parts, from your own scanner, in your own workflow BEFORE buying.
If a specific part doesn't align well after purchase, that is not a defect and is not covered by the "faulty software" route. It is, however, still covered by the 14-day no-questions-asked window above — request a refund within that window and we'll honour it.
Refunds after 14 days
After the 14-day window we don't offer refunds. If something's genuinely broken and you've been a long-time customer, email us anyway — we'll try to do the right thing on a case-by-case basis.
Lemon Squeezy
Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record, meaning they handle the payment, tax, and refund processing on our behalf. Your purchase receipt and refund will both come from Lemon Squeezy, not directly from WARELAB. This is normal and reflects how digital sales operate across international markets.
