What we collect

This website collects personal information to power site analytics, including information about your browser, network, and device, web pages you visited before coming to this site, your IP address, and details about how you use this site such as pages visited, clicks, and timestamps. We provide this information to Squarespace, our website analytics provider.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies that download to your device when you visit. These include necessary cookies required to serve the site securely, and analytics cookies used to understand site traffic and activity. If you submit information via a form on this site, we collect the data you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. This information is stored through Squarespace.

WARELAB Mesh — software downloads

If you download WARELAB Mesh or other software from this site, we do not collect any personal data beyond standard site analytics described above.

When you launch WARELAB Mesh it sends a small, anonymous check-in to our server containing only the application version and a random identifier generated on your device the first time you run the app. It does **not** include your name, email, any file you open, or any hardware identifier, and it cannot be used to identify you. We use it to understand how many people use WARELAB Mesh, which versions are in use, and whether updates are reaching users. You can turn it off at any time in **Settings → Privacy** ("Send anonymous usage statistics").

During the free trial only, this check-in also includes a one-way, salted hash of a basic machine fingerprint (such as your host name and operating system) to prevent the trial being reset by reinstalling. It cannot be reversed to identify your device, is never sent once you own a licence, and can be turned off with the usage statistics in Settings → Privacy.

Third parties

This site is hosted by Squarespace. You can read their privacy policy at squarespace.com/privacy. This site uses Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts to display typefaces — these providers may receive your IP address and browser information in order to serve font files.
